a recent summary of the past month and my sudden absence: 1. show choir: getting into finals, wowing the judges, late bus rides home, sweating my butt off, staying at an interesting hotel, and stopping at many restaurants of all kinds make the tiring rehearsals worth the competitions. a lot of preparation is done in class. 2. writing: my current obsession is my main reason for going on the computer. story ideas have been flooding into my head like a dam's walls being broken down by the waves it holds back. they're all good and i don't want to get rid of any of them.  the hardest part, though, is actually figuring out how to write the story.

my firefox was being stupid and not connecting. then internet explorer wasn't letting me download the latest version that i so desperately wanted to try. so i downloaded opera to see how it works (not trusting safari) and i actually like it. it's very similar to firefox. i'll keep testing it but i think i'm going to stick with it :nod: my friend and i decided to become authors together. i have really been into writing stories lately and i've been writing a few over the past few months (hence my long absence--that and school). of course i will support myself with other jobs, but i think writing will be such a creative part of my life if it's

i woke up saturday morning and low and behold there was snow! we got seven inches. it was absolutely beautiful seeing all the white and all the snow fall, but it was also really weird because just last night there wasn't any, so i had to keep asking myself, "where'd it all come from!?!!" a strange yet amazing moment. i was even inspired to take some pictures! they have yet to even be uploaded on this computer xD however, because of all the snow, we couldn't go to fencing because visibility for driving was bad and the roads were icy. but they got the snowplows out now so the roads are finally clear. but it was still a bummer i didn't go yeste
